Hi, I'm Alexandra, the young entrepreneur that founded and created the Musical Theatre Pins brand. Following on from the success of my first brand I decided to turn my attention to movies and t.v. shows, another of my great loves. And so Movie Night Pins was born.
I'm guessing since you've been looking around this shop you're probably like me, and really love finding movie and t.v. show related items that are just that little off the beaten track!! If so, you might have previously looked for some move and t.v. show related pins to decorate your bags and show the world your love for these shows … but… you’ve found that there are very limited options out there. I know that’s what happened to me. So, I’ve decided to create a brand specifically for move and t.v. show inspired enamel pins.
All the designs are created by me and are 100% original, so you won’t find anything like them anywhere else!! I hope you find what you’re looking for as our collection grows and brings a little theatre magic with you wherever you go.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (also known simply as E.T.) is a 1982 American science fiction film … Directed by Steven Spielberg, this film quickly gained popularity and a classic family film. Starring Dee Wallace, Henry Thomas, Peter Coyote, Robert MacNaughton and Drew Barrymore, E.T. shares a message of friendship, loyalty and trust that engages and inspires audiences of varying ages.
The story follows Elliot, a lonely little boy who befriends an extra-terrestrial that he dubs E.T. This little alien is stranded on earth unable to get home without help/alone. Elliot brings this alien home and introduces it to his two siblings who decide to keep E.T. a secret. However when E.T. becomes ill, they know they must find a way to get him home, all the way back to the other aliens like him even if it results in Elliot losing his best friend…
‘Phone Home’ is one of the most iconic quotes in film history, even those who haven’t seen the film most likely know it. It occurs during one of the early scenes in the movie, in which the children are discovering that this little alien can talk. After Elliot’s sister Gertie manages to teach E.T. a few basic words, he starts to communicate by stringing a couple words together to convey the message he needs to get across. This message being the famous “E.T. phone home”. Accompanied by the iconic scene from the film in which Elliot and the extra-terrestrial are magically travelling through the sky on a bicycle, this design perfectly encapsulates this cult-classic film!
