Superman is one of the most famous fictional characters in pop culture, originally appearing in multiple DC comics that since then has been adapted for various media all over the globe including live action and animated films, many televisions series, quite a few toy lines and multiple video games.
Superman is the formidable alias of sensible, nerdy journalist Clark Kent. Superman was born on the alien planet Krypton and given the name Kal-El. As a baby, his parents place him in a small spaceship and send him to Earth in order to protect him from the planet’s imminent destruction. He is found and adopted by an American couple, Martha and Jonathan Kent, who give him the name Clark Kent and raise him on a farm in a town called Smallville. There he discovers that he holds various superhuman abilities including flight, superhuman strength, enhanced hearing, heat vision, super speed, being bulletproof and many more. The Kent Family decide that with these powers, Clark should use them for good, in a way that benefits humanity.
